11th ANNUAL SARAH TOLIN MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL FOLKSTYLE TOURNAMENT

ONLINE   REGISTRATION   REQUIRED     http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/registration

Actual weight must be given at registration. Deadline for registration is Midnight, Thursday, January 15, 2015. Online fee is $20. Fee must be paid with a credit card at the time of registration. NO ONSITE REGISTRATION.

 

 

Ages: 6&U(Peewee); 7-8(Bantam); 9-10(Intermediate); 11-12(Novice); 13-14(Schoolboy/girl); 15-16(Cadet)

 

Separation & Bracketing: Beginners & Advanced will be separated if possible. Ages are based upon year of birth and the year 2015. In each age division the actual weights will be put in weight order and then separated into 8 man line brackets. If 8 man line brackets are not possible because of wrestler’s weights then round robins or best 2 out of 3 rounds will be used. Once the brackets are built there will be no changes. Decisions of the Head Pairing Official are final and not subject to protest.

 

Friday, January 16    MANDATORY SATELLITE WEIGH-INS ONLY: Must be conducted by a current licensed USWOA mat or pairing official or USAW licensed coach and must be emailed by midnight, Friday, January 16th to don@tolinlawoffices.com. Head official may re-weigh any wrestler. For questions contact Don Tolin (307) 258-0117. Decisions of the Head Mat Official are final and not subject to protest.

Sunday, January 18             

approx. 8 am start       Wrestling all Peewee, Intermediate & Schoolboy/girl age divisions.

approx. 1 pm start       Wrestling all Bantam, Novice & Cadet age divisions.

 

SANCTION:                           This tournament is sanctioned by USA Wrestling (USAW) and Wyoming Amateur Wrestling Association (WAWA) and a current USA Wrestling card will be required at registration.

HEADGEAR & SINGLETS:             Headgear required. All red and all blue singlets are preferred.

COACHES:                            Only coaches with a current USAW card will receive a coaching wrist band to coach at mat side.

OFFICIALS:                           Each club is required to comply with WAWA guidelines for mat and pairing officials.  Officials must have a current USAW card as an official, coach or athlete. Mat officials will be mailed a partial travel reimbursement after the tournament to help with traveling costs.

AWARDS:                              Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, ribbons for 4th, 5th & 6th. Trophies for fastest pin in each age group will be awarded. Team trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. HUGE TEAM TROPHIES so bring your mat and pairing officials. Only teams meeting WAWA criteria for number of mat and pairing officials will be eligible for team awards. Matt Yeager Memorial Award for outstanding mat official and SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD will be awarded.

 

ENTRY FEE:        $20 entry fee. Must be paid by credit card at the time of online registration. No refunds.

ADMISSION:       $2 admission fee for non-participants 6 & older and adults or $5 admission fee per family.

PARKING:           Free parking available in parking lot at 9th & Oak Streets, south of the venue.
