THE DEADLINE FOR USAW CARD PURCHASES AND DATE OF BIRTH VERIFICATION IS THURSDAY, APRIL 9TH. After that date no USAW cards will be processed. Verification of date of birth must be given at check in if USAW card is PENDING.

All registrations must be paid by credit or debit card.

No double bracketing. Athletes may choose to wrestle one weight class above actual weight at weigh ins but must register at that weight for regional or national tournaments. THERE IS NO ONSITE REGISTRATION AT STATE. EVERYONE MUST BE PREREGISTERED FOR ALL TOURNAMENTS BEING WRESTLED. NO EXCEPTIONS IN ANY STYLE OR DIVISION.

 

The deadline for registering all athletes is Sunday, April 12, 2015 at midnight.

There will be no registrations accepted after that time.

 

Use the attached form to assist in registering the athletes. This form is for club use only. Make as many copies as necessary.

Instructions:

• Select “Register Now”
• Read and click Refund Policy
• An invoice number will then be generated, write down this number for future reference
• Then select “continue”
• Add all wrestlers you are registering 
• When registering athletes make sure to register for all tournaments being wrestled ($25 per tournament). Remember, there are several tournaments.
• When all athletes are entered, balance the number of entries with your registration forms, select “continue”
• Fill in all billing information, (name, billing address, card number, CVC# & expiration date)
• A complete invoice will be available to print
• This process can be done as many times as necessary prior to the cutoff deadline
• ALL UNATTACHED WRESTLERS USE THE ABOVE STEPS TO REGISTER

 

IMPORTANT

• Female athletes CAN PARTICIPATE in any WAWA Kids/Cadets State tournaments. Female athletes wishing to qualify for Western Regional in Pocatello, Idaho must compete in the WAWA Kids/Cadet Freestyle or Greco State Tournament to qualify. FEMALE ATHLETES MAY COMPETE IN FEMALE ONLY FREESTYLE OR FEMALE ONLY FOLKSTYE AS WELL AS FREESTYLE, FOLKSTYLE AND GRECO TOURNAMENTS. (FEMALE ONLY FREESTYLE DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR WESTERN REGIONAL)
• FEMALE ONLY TOURNAMENTS – AGE DIVISIONS & WEIGHT CLASSES are per 2015 USAW chart for female wrestling, different than the other tournaments.
• All weigh-in weights are the official weights used for bracketing purposes.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: Medals will be given to the top six (6) place winners in each weight class and all styles. Athletes being awarded the Champion of all three styles, Freestyle, Folkstyle and Greco (not Female only) will receive a 3-style plaque.

TEAM AWARDS: Two divisions will be awarded, larger clubs and smaller clubs, this will be determined by the Registration Chairman and the Pairing Director at the time of the tournament. WAWA State Team Awards for 1st and 2nd place will be awarded for each style. 1st place will be awarded in Female Freestyle. Team scoring structure: each club must turn in an officials list with the appropriate number and names of Mat and Pairing Officials to the state Pairing Director or designee within 30 minutes after weigh-ins close for each style. No Exceptions! Once the roster has been submitted it may not be changed. Pairing and Mat Officials must attend the State Clinic at the tournament to qualify for team points. Number of required officials for team awards are as follows: 5 to 14 wrestlers – 1 mat official and 1 pairing official; 15 to 24 wrestlers – 2 mat officials and 2 pairing officials; 25 to 34 wrestlers – 3 mat officials and 3 pairing officials; 35 to 44 wrestlers – 4 mat officials and 3 pairing officials; 45 to 54 wrestlers – 5 mat officials and 4 pairing officials; 55 to 64 wrestlers – 6 mat officials and 5 pairing officials. For additional calculations for each ten additional wrestlers the officials will increase by one respectively.

COACHING: Only 2 coaches with proper credentials per wrestler at mat side. A Photographer with the proper credentials will be considered as one of the coaches at mat side.

CERTIFIED WAWA COACH: Requirements in order to pick up coach wrist band at state venue.

2. Current USA Wrestling Coach Card

3. Copper or higher Coaching Certification

4. Must purchase Coach band, either online prior to event or at the venue. Online cost is $20, onsite cost will be $25. Coach bands can be purchased on Trackwrestling.

5. If band is purchased online, a receipt must be presented to receive coaching band.

TO RECEIVE A COACH WRIST BAND, ALL REQUIRED PROPER CREDENTIALS MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TOURNAMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS. Clubs will receive a reimbursement for the number of coaching passes allowed per number of athletes purchased on Trackwrestling and it will be the clubs discretion to disperse or not to disperse the refunded amount.

FLOOR PASSES:

1-24 athletes 1 pass for every certified WAWA Coach but no more than 5

25 or more 1 additional pass for every 5 athletes thereafter
