Cowboys win in Reno!

The University of Wyoming wrestling program won the team title in the Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday. The Cowboys wrestling program has won this tournament once before, back in 2010. Wyoming wrestlers earned 134 points to secure the team title this weekend in Reno. 

Tyler Cox helping the Cowboys to earn their first-place finish, while earning his third-straight title in Reno. Cox went 5-0 and even beat 12th-ranked Evan Silver of Stanford 3-1 in his final match. 

Shane Woods was Wyoming's other tournament champion. He also went 5-0 to earn his first Reno title.

Dakota Friesth and Andy McCulley ended up second, with three other Pokes placing in Reno. Benjamin Stroh finished in third place, Jake Elliott placed fourth and Tanner Harms ended up in fifth place.
