Tonight’s dual against the SDSU Jackrabbits marks the 100th dual for coach Mark Branch since taking the position with the Cowboys.

The wrestling action tonight started out at 125 lbs with Tyler Cox earning a major decision against Isaac Andrade. Drew Templeman followed up with a decision win over Brance Simms. Going into the third bout of the dual the pokes had a 7-0 lead.

The next 3 Jackrabbits up came out and earned a quick 10 points for SDSU giving them the lead going into the intermission.

After the intermission the pokes came out and wrestled, and they wrestled very well. Dakota Friesth started the pokes off post intermission with a Fall over John Nething II. Andy McCulley came out and added to the momentum by earning a solid 5-3 victory over David Kocer. Ben Stroh came out ahead of Brady Ayers by way of a 14-3 major decision.
