Wrestling Plus is a complete 20 minute warm-up program, scientifically designed to develop basic fitness levels that are necessary for injury prevention among wrestlers.

Many injuries in wrestling are caused by doing techniques/drills in poor position but many of these injuries can be best prevented by proper preparation.

United World Wrestling (UWW) and its research team have developed an injury prevention program called Wrestling Plus. It consists of 3 parts (14 daily exercises) performed in order at the start of each training session (recommended at least twice per week).

A key point in the program is to ensure athletes use the proper technique during all of the warm-up exercises start at level 1 and focus on how to perform the exercises correctly.

A large clinical research study indicates that a consistent implementation of Wrestling Plus can lead to a 30-50% reduction in injuries. Use the Wrestling Plus poster as a guide you can hang in your room while using the full PowerPoint or video presentation to learn the sequences and teaching points.
